Here’s what the partial lunar eclipse looked like in Fresno, California

A partial lunar eclipse of the Harvest Moon, in tandem with a supermoon, lit up the skies Tuesday night in Fresno, a video shows.
Supermoons appear larger that regular full moons because they happen during the lunar orbit's closest approach to Earth. NASA said these moons appear 30% brighter and 14% larger than when the moon's orbit is at its furthest distance from the planet.
The harvest moon is the name for the full moon that occurs closest to the fall equinox, the official first day of autumn. In 2024, the fall equinox falls on Sunday, Sept. 22.
The astronomical event was seen worldwide on Tuesday. The video from Fresno was shot by via Spectee.
