Homicide charges for fatal drunk driving crash in Monroe County

TOMAH, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Homicide charges have been filed for a fatal crash in Monroe County that killed one person Thursday. 39-year-old Kristoffer Cattle of Tomah is charged with 1st-degree reckless homicide and homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle among other charges.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says deputies were looking for cattle after getting calls about his erratic driving in Sparta. Cattle eventually drove into oncoming traffic on County Highway A crashing into another vehicle, killing the driver and injuring another. He's due in court on December 16th.
