GLENDALE, AZ - Two years ago, the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals were fighting for first in the NFC West. Now, they are battling to see who can get the better draft position.

Los Angeles Rams (4-6) vs. Arizona Cardinals (2-9)

The Rams are currently having a better season than the Cardinals. They are also coming off an upset win, outlasting the Seattle Seahawks in a 17-16 contest. It was L.A.’s first win in five weeks, though it was not pretty. Matthew Stafford threw for just 190 yards, tossing a touchdown and an interception. A couple of key defensive stops, something the Rams had not had a whole lot of this year, held Geno Smith and the Seahawks at bay. That said, Los Angeles should want to pick up things offensively. Despite being out the Cooper Kupp for most of the season, they have scored 20 or less points five times.

Arizona had some spark in their lineup, when franchise quarterback Kyler Murray returned in Week 10. Though he helped the Cardinals come away with a win over the Atlanta Falcons, the offense was minuscule against the Houston Texans last week, and was unable to hold off CJ Stroud in a 21-16 loss. The Cards are currently a half-game ahead of the Carolina Panthers for the worst record in the NFL.

L.A. is third in the West, three games back of the first-place San Francisco 49ers, with the Cardinals 2.5 games behind the Rams. Los Angeles is also 1.5 games back of the Minnesota Vikings for the last playoff spot in the NFC.

The Rams won the first meeting this season between the two in Week 6, back when now-Minnesota Viking QB Joshua Dobbs was with the Cardinals. L.A. is 49-40-2 against Arizona.
