Hunters asked to report signs of missing people in Itasca County

ITASCA COUNTY, Minn. (Northern News Now) - With Minnesota's deer opener approaching, the Itasca County Sheriff's Office is asking hunters for their help regarding any signs of two missing people. Ellie Halverson went missing on Nov. 4, 2023. She was last seen in Northome in a brown, early 2000s model Toyota Camry with an unknown license plate number. It is not known which direction Halverson traveled in. Police say she is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 100 pounds. Caleb Bolin is also missing as he was last seen on Aug. 6 in St. Cloud, Minn. Law enforcement officials say they have searched extensively for him in recent weeks to no avail and are pushing north with search efforts. They're asking those in the Marcell or Bello Lake area to report anything unusual to authorities. There is no word on the circumstances around his disappearance.
