Injury Update: Riq Woolen questionable to return

N.Thompson26 min ago
The Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants are tied late in the second quarter in a Week 5 showdown, and Seattle starting cornerback Riq Woolen stayed down after making a tackle.

On a first and ten play from the New York 22, The Giants gave the ball to Tyrone Tracy, who took it for a three-yard gain before being tackled by Uchenna Nwosu and Riq Woolen. Woolen stayed down on the ground before walking off on his own and heading directly into the blue medical tent on the sideline in order to be evaluated.

Woolen would leave the game temporarily, being replaced by Tre Brown at outside cornerback opposite of 2023 first round pick Devon Witherspoon, while the third cornerback spot has been filled by fifth round pick Nehemiah Pritchett. However, Woolen would quickly return to the field.

However, Woolen again left the game in the second half, and the Seahawks have announced that his return is questionable.
