Is ‘Dancing With The Stars’ On This Week? The Themes, Songs, And Dances For Week 3

It's been nearly two weeks since fans last saw a new episode of Dancing With the Stars. But don't worry—this week, two back-to-back episodes will air on Monday and Tuesday, with your favorite couples returning to the ballroom to dance to soul train and hair metal hits.

Last week's episode was preemptively canceled and rescheduled to October 7 to accommodate CBS' Vice Presidential debate . Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz even gave a nod to DWTS viewers on air, saying, "Thank you to all of you if you're still up and the folks who missed Dancing with the Stars. I appreciate it."

In Week 2, the first two couples, Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov, along with Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa, were eliminated from the competition. Delvey caused a stir on social media when she said on live television that she would take away "nothing" from her time on the show.

Dancing With the Stars will return with back-to-back episodes on Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8, at 8 p.m. ET.

DWTS airs live on ABC and Disney+, and new episodes are available to stream on ABC.com and Hulu the next day.

The theme for Monday (October 7) is Soul Train night, while the dancers will rock to Hair Metal music on Tuesday night (October 8).

Will There Be An Elimination On Dancing With the Stars On October 7?

Monday night's Dancing with the Stars episode was pre-recorded and will not have an elimination. Instead, the votes from that night will carry over to the October 8 episode, where one couple will be going home in a single elimination.
