Ja Morant trolls LeBron James with brutal social media post

Ja Morant flamed LeBron James on social media after the Memphis Grizzlies ' late-game surge led to a 131-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. Despite dropping a 39-point performance, James' side fell to the team effort from a young and scrappy Grizzlies squad. As the two stars went head to head, Bleacher Report posted a photo of James giving Morant the 'too small gesture' as the Grizzlies poster boy had his back to the paint. 'Bron said [too small],' the page wrote with a pop-corn emoji. Following the win, Morant did not let the post slide. The explosive guard wrote 'Grizz said:' with a GIF of a man wearing an 18th century American costume, doing the popular Griddy dance and holding an 'L' gesture to the camera. Morant helped lead his team to victory, being one of three Memphis players with 20 points on the evening. Joining him was center Jaren Jackson Jr. and Rookie forward Jaylen Wells. Santi Aldama also painted the stat sheet with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Scottie Pippen Jr., Jake LaRavia, and Jay Huff all scored double-digits with 14, 13, and 11 points, respectively off the bench. On the other hand, James' supporting cast also put up impressive numbers despite the 39-year-old carrying much of the load with Anthony Davis out. Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell clocked in 19 and 12 points, respectively while Cam Reddish came off the bench to score 15 with six rebounds. Jaxson Hayes would lead the purple in gold on the boards with ten. The game was neck and neck through the first half before the Grizzlies came out guns blazing in the second. Memphis outshot and outrebounded the Lakers while tallying six blocks and five steals on the defensive end to move to a 5-4 record. Meanwhile, the Lakers moved to 4-4 with the loss.
