Life and Legacy of Jacqueline Frances Drummond

Jacqueline "Jackie" Drummond, 97, died peacefully on October 12, 2024, during a thunderstorm that her family affectionately called "an angels' welcoming party." Born and raised in Racine, Jackie remained a beloved and active member of the community throughout her life.

Jackie was known for her loving heart and endless energy. She was a proud alumna of St. Catherine's High School, where she was a cheerleader and continued supporting her community throughout her life. Jackie remained connected to many local institutions, including St. Monica's Senior Living, St. Croix Hospice, and St. Lucy Catholic Church.

She was easy to love and her joyful spirit and optimism will be missed by all who knew her.

Cherished Family and Legacy

Jackie leaves behind her children: Mary Kay Knoche, Theresa Treinen (Tim), William Drummond (Susie), and Michael Drummond (Mary); her brother, Michael Schoene (Eileen); and her sister-in-law, Ruth Schoene. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Erin Laverick (Vince), William Knoche (Kelly), Andrew Knoche (Victoria), Nicole Treinen, Laura Treinen, Luke Drummond (Jessica), Peter Drummond (Baylee), Natalie Drummond, and Nick Drummond, as well as her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Schoene and Margaret Collins Schoene; her husband of 46 years, William Drummond; her sister, Catherine Jordan, and her brother, E. Thomas Schoene.

A Life of Joy and Love

Jackie embraced life with joy and love, remaining active well into her later years by participating in activities like Silver Sneakers at the YMCA and staying involved with her community at East Park Towers and St. Monica's Senior Living . She will be remembered for her boundless love and support for her family and friends.

Celebration of Life Services

Visitation for Jacqueline Frances Drummond will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., Racine, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at Preservation Hall.

Final Resting Place and Contributions

Following her services, Jackie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to St. Catherine's High School, St. Monica's Senior Living, St. Croix Hospice, or St. Lucy Catholic Church.

Jackie's love and impact will remain in the hearts of her family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
