Janesville man found guilty of killing pregnant ex-girlfriend

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Logan Barclay, 23, has been found guilty of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Kiersten Hansen, 22, and leaving her body on a nature trail .

According to the Rock County District Attorney's Office, on April 16th, 2024, Barclay lured Hansen for a walk on the Peace Trail bike path and then shot her in the stomach, leaving her for dead.

A passerby found her body the following day, in the Fisher Creek area, near South Afton Road and West Rockport Drive.

Barclay will return to court on February 11th, 2025, for his sentencing hearing.

Hansen's father has started a to pay for his daughter's funeral and celebration of life.
