Jaylen Brown is out tonight against Hornets

Jaylen Brown will miss tonight's rematch with the Hornets in Charlotte tonight with a left hip flexor strain.

Brown had 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in Friday's prequel. For his career Brown has averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 21 games against Charlotte.

In addition, Brown took issue with former Celtic Grant Williams' dirty hit on Jayson Tatum .

So, it appears Williams will be able to avoid another confrontation with J.B. tonight.

Brown has struggled from three over the last three Celtic games, shooting 1/21, 4.7%, from beyond the arc.

The rest of the Celtics injury report includes Sam Hauser who is probable and, of course, Kristaps Porzingis who remains out.
