JD Vance to rally in Flint Monday

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance will travel to Michigan once again as we near Election Day, this time to Flint on Monday, Nov. 4.

Vance will speak at FIM Capitol Theatre . Doors to the event open at 11:15 a.m. and he will deliver his remarks at 1:15 p.m.

Vance will discuss the effects of high inflation and says Trump will resolve this issue if he is elected.

Joint Economic Commitee reports that Michigan has seen a 20.5% increase in inflation since January 2021, equal to the national average.

Vance also plans to discuss the potential ban of gas-powered vehicles. According to Vance, 63% of Michiganders oppose the implementation of these bans. He says that the state will bear the brunt of an EV mandate, the state to lose at least 37,000 jobs.

Michigan has received plenty of political attention in recent weeks as the candidates fight for a foothold in the state as we near Election Day.

Trump spoke at Macomb Community College in on Friday, Nov. 1.

Vance has made appearances in Auburn Hill all within the past month.

Kamala Harris will visit Michigan State University on Nov. 3. She will hold an on-campus rally for young voters. The event will begin at 6:30.
