Jenelle Evans seen on rare outing with son Jace, 15, as Teen Mom star treats kids to motocross at new home in Las Vegas... after separating from husband

She moved to Las Vegas for a fresh start following her contentious split from her estranged husband David Eason.

And Jenelle Evans showed that the new move had allowed her to bond with her oldest son Jace, 15, in photos she posted on Instagram over the weekend.

The 32-year-old Teen Mom 2 star has rarely been pictured with Jace, who repeatedly ran away from home when he was living in North Carolina with his mother and her husband David.

Even though Jace had subsequent behavior problems while under the care of his grandmother, there wasn't any hint of conflict in the sweet family photo that Janelle shared with her 3.1 million followers.

'Wishing everyone Good Luck tonight at today's #supermotocross FINALS! Thanks for an amazing experience my kids will never forget!,' she captioned her post.

In her group photo, Jenelle posted next to Jace, who towered over her in a black-and-white uniform with black racing boots and a matching helmet on with the visor flipped up.

His mother was dressed in a similar black-and-white jersey, but she tucked the flowing top into her slim blue jeans, which she paired with gray trainers.

She had her younger son Kaiser, 10, who wore a similar outfit to Jack but with gray sneakers, and he kept his red-tinted visor down, obscuring his face.

Ensley, seven, rounded out the quartet, and she wore a light blue long-sleeve shirt with black leggings and pink trainers.

All three of her kids appeared to be involved in the dirt bike event, as they were all seen on bikes in subsequent photos.

Jace looked shockingly mature as he flashed a soft smile at Ensley, who donned a green helmet as she sat on her bike.

She posed for the camera with her face completely obscured under the helmet in another snap, and Kaiser also appeared to be getting some tips from an adult as he sat on his bike on a dirt mound.

On Monday, Jenelle's manager August Keen shared with TMZ that the reality star had moved to Las Vegas in late spring, though she avoided publicizing the move after she was filmed considering moving to Vegas on an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that aired in June.

August added that Jenelle had purchased a house in Sin City in March, though it took her a few months to fully get the family moved in.

Although Jenelle celebrated her oldest child's birthday last month, she has rarely posed for photos with him in recent months.

That was partly due to logistics, as Jace was removed from her and David's custody after Eason allegedly attacked the teen in September 2023, at which point Jace went to live with Jenelle's mother, Barbara.

On August 3, Jenelle — who recently broke down in tears over her split with husband David — took to Instagram to share a heartfelt photo of the mother–son duo commemorating his 15th birthday.

In the snap, the pair had their arms around each other in front of a candlelit cake. Jenelle also shared a short clip of Jace's festivities.

'What is 15? Being 15 is riding 4 wheelers, building tents, ordering pizza with friends. Thats how wanted his birthday!,' she captioned the post.

'How did those years go by so quick?! I'm the short one now! #HappyBirthday,' she concluded.

In February, Jenelle reunited with Jace after Child Protective Services dropped their charges against her and her husband David Eason .

She took to her TikTok at the time to share a sweet video of a family dinner with Jace.

it was a striking contrast to the picture of a family painted by Jace last year.

According to TMZ , he alleged that his stepfather David — whom Jenelle married in 2017 — had assaulted him following his most recent attempt to run away from home.

The insiders went on to claim that Evans' son exhibited visible marks on his neck and arms, and the alleged assault was said to have taken place at an acquaintance's residence.

Both the local police department and CPS were said to have obtained Ring camera footage of the incident.

Following the alleged assault, Evans and Eason both became the subject of a investigation for suspected child neglect.

It was reported that the latter of the two had officially been charged with a misdemeanor related to his involvement in the incident in October.

Officials have since determined that a separate charge for alleged strangulation is applicable to the media figure's spouse.

In November, Jenelle implied that her mother Barbara was the culprit behind the child abuse probe and charge against Eason, as well as the nasty fallout of the ongoing situation.

'All of these comments are stemming from one person who is spreading it - if you know who I'm talking about,' she said on social media.

'This will all be over soon and then I'll be able to tell you guys the full truth and what's going on,' she said, 'but like right now, please just keep your comments to yourself because I'm trying to keep my mental health in check.'

Jace has reportedly had no contact with the Teen Mom 2 star or her husband David since he was moved out of their home and was sent to live with Jenelle's mother Barbara again.

The new arrangement seemed to have been benefiting the teenage boy, who had been happier than he has been in recent weeks, according to sources with direct knowledge who spoke to TMZ .

It was reported that Eason, whose conduct was defended by his wife earlier this year, had been accused by Evans' son Jace of physical abuse this past October.

Jace had run away from home on several occasions before then, and he had been returned to his parents each time.

Although Jace was back living under Barbara's roof — where he has lived for much of his life — he was technically under the custody of Child Protective Services, which removed him from his mother and stepfather's home.

According to the same sources, Barbara — who has had a tempestuous relationship with Jenelle over the years — is also not in touch with her daughter or David.

Jenelle also shares an nine-year-old son named Kaiser with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith and daughter Ensley, seven, with David.

David also has two children — Maryssa and Kaden — from previous relationships.
