Kentucky weather today: Cold and blustery
LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — We start the day with clouds, but those decrease during the afternoon.
It’s going to be a cold and blustery day with highs in the mid-to-upper 30s. The wind chills will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Get ready for a colder night! Lows drop into the low-to-mid 20s, but the wind stays blustery, creating wind chills in the teens and possibly isolated single digits. BRRR!
The mercury doesn’t climb much on Tuesday, with highs only in the low-to-mid 30s under a mostly sunny sky. The wind chills only in the 20s during the afternoon.
A nice warming trend gets underway Wednesday as southwesterly winds kick in. Highs will warm well into the 40s.
The Next Big Thing is our next rain chance on Friday. There is still some uncertainty with respect to the track of the storm, which will determine how much rain we’ll see.
Another system is possible for Sunday, with more showers.
