LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Las Vegas woman injured in a crash last month has died, according to the Clark County Coroner's office.

The 61-year-old woman was critically injured on Sept. 13, shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Smoke Ranch Road.

Evidence at the scene indicated that the woman driving a Kia Soul entered the intersection in the left turn lane on a flashing yellow turn signal on Smoke Ranch Road and collided with the driver of a Honda Accord who was traveling north on Buffalo Drive approaching a green traffic light, according to police.

The crash redirected the Honda Accord, causing it to crash into the stopped Honda Pilot. Arriving medical personnel took both occupants of the Kia and the Honda Accord driver to the hospital. The Honda Pilot driver remained at the scene of the crash. All drivers did not display signs of impairment, police said.

On Oct. 11 the woman who had been driving the Kia was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her death marks the 124th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2024.

The crash remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
