Police have taken a woman into custody after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in L.A.'s Arlington Heights neighborhood. Video of the exchange between the officer and driver involved in the traffic sop was released by police. The Oklahoma City Police Department has since put the officer on administrative leave pending an internal investigation into what happened saying in a statement "there was a use of force." Inside Edition Digital has more. An arrest report gives more details about what occurred before a man was shot to death Wednesday in the 3200 block of West Edgewood Avenue. Investigators observed surveillance video that showed the victim driving an orange Chevrolet Camaro with orange rims at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and New Kings Road, according to the JSO arrest report for Lavertis Reed, 20, who was charged with murder in the shooting. As the victim's vehicle crossed the intersection, a white vehicle with dark rims was observed on the surveillance video driving south at a high rate of speed on New Kings Road, the arrest report states. A sheriff's office in Olympia, Washington used a grappler to end a pursuit last week by crashing a stolen car at 100 miles per hour. In a New York City courtroom, Eric Gonzalez recalled encountering the chaotic struggle in progress, after Daniel Penny had already pinned the man, Jordan Neely, to the train's floor and placed him in a firm chokehold. "I made my presence known to Daniel Penny," Gonzalez told jurors. Penny is facing manslaughter charges in the May 2023 death of Neely, a 30-year-old man who was homeless. A judge recused himself Tuesday from presiding over Arizona's fake electors case after an email surfaced in which he told fellow judges to speak out against attacks on Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for the presidency. In the Aug. 29 email, Maricopa County Judge Bruce Cohen lamented that he didn't speak out when Harris was called a "DEI hire," believes that white men must speak out against unfair treatment of women, and raised a historical lesson from the Holocaust about the need to speak up when people are attacked. A police officer arrived at the scene and issued both drivers a ticket for an improper U-turn. The impact reportedly caused Vu to lose consciousness, with the OCPD stating that the officer removed the handcuffs after the paramedics arrived. Officials in Wisconsin believe a man who disappeared after he was kayaking at a lake this summer is alive and well, possibly having faked his death and traveled to Europe — after he took out a life insurance policy and communicated with a woman from Uzbekistan.
