Limited-edition Alvies cowboy boots celebrate Nolan Ryan’s legacy and Texas pride
Alvies, the direct-to-consumer cowboy boot company, has hit a home run with its latest release: created in collaboration with Texas baseball legend Nolan Ryan.
This limited-edition boot pays tribute to Ryan's unparalleled baseball career and his deep ties to Texas culture.
"Nolan Ryan has been my lifelong sports hero," said Alvies co-founder and president Alvie Faulkenbery IV. "When I was 11, I invited him to my birthday party, and though he couldn't attend, he sent me an autographed picture and a note. Designing this boot has been a dream come true."
Inspired by Ryan's grit, toughness, and Texas pride, the Ryan Express boot was crafted to reflect the baseball icon's no-nonsense reputation.
Alvies collaborated with Austin-based design agency Helms Workshop and architect Jack Sanders, founder of the Long Time Sandlot baseball field, to create a vintage-style boot that stands as timeless as Ryan's legacy.
"These boots were made to be long-lasting and unwavering, just like Nolan's career," said Mary Conley Thompson of the Nolan Ryan Foundation, which played an active role in the design process. "Anyone who loves Texas, baseball, or a solid pair of boots will love them."
Handcrafted in Alvies' León, Mexico factory, the Ryan Express boots boast premium full-grain leather and unique baseball-inspired details, including glove-lace accents and a special unboxing experience that mirrors opening a set of collectible baseball cards.
The boots are available in two striking colors—bright orange and powder blue—paying tribute to Ryan's Texas playing days.

In line with Nolan Ryan's dedication to philanthropy, 12% of every pair sold will benefit the Nolan Ryan Foundation, which has raised over $5.1 million for scholarships, community grants, and donations in the past decade.

With only 200 pairs being produced, the Ryan Express boots are a must-have for collectors and fans alike.
