Lindale Fire Department extinguishes house fire

LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - The Lindale Fire Department gained control of a house fire Thursday morning.

According to Lindale Fire Chief Joe Yeakley, the department responded to the scene Thursday on a residential fire call.

Two engines and a battalion truck were sent out to the home, and another engine, two tender trucks and an additional battalion truck were called in to assist, according to a post.

A post from Smith County Emergency Services District 2, who were called in to assist Lindale, said firefighters gained control of the blaze quickly.

Six units and 14 personnel were at the scene, and no injuries were reported.
