Looking for a new job? Waste and recycling collection company hiring event in Baton Rouge set for Oct. 9
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — If you are looking for a job, Waste Pro-Baton Rouge is holding a hiring event on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Waste Pro Baton Rouge Office, 1774 N. Flannery Road.
Positions the company is hiring include master mechanic/technician, CDL drivers and diesel technicians.
If you plan to attend, Waste Pro asks applicants to bring a resume, motor vehicle record, DOT medical card and driver's license. According to Waste Pro, people could expect to interview and take road tests. The company said offers could be made on the same day.
Applicants for the driver position are required to already have a commercial driver's license.
"Drivers and helpers hired and remain employed for three years without accidents, injuries, or property damage are eligible to earn a $10,000 Safety Award for drivers or a $5,000 Safety Award for helpers," Waste Pro said.
