So, you know, just drinking water is a huge issue," Ozzy Somad, the President of Brother's Brother Foundation, said. Asheville is getting almost 40,000 bottles of water. The other truck is carrying 19 pallets of water, a pallet of Boost nutritional drink and roughly 1,700 hygiene kits to Macon. The 8 a.m. truck to Asheville delayed."You get trucks scheduled, and oftentimes there'll be a delay, or there could be issues in terms of pricing when quite honestly, you know, trucks are trying to go to the areas that will pay them the most," Somad said. Both trucks are still scheduled to leave Monday. More supplies like blankets, diapers and cleaning products are expected to be shipped.
