Lorain woman dies after vehicle ends up in field

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (WJW) — A Lorain woman died after a crash Sunday morning. According to a press release from Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:40 a.m. on Indian Hollow Road near Cook Street in Lagrange Township. Man charged with stabbing caretaker to death at Akron group home: Police The preliminary investigation showed a vehicle driven by Eileen Page, 58, of Lorain, was going north on Indian Hollow Road before the crash. Troopers said her vehicle went off the left side of the road, hit a mailbox and continued though a tree line and into a field. Page was unresponsive when troopers got to the scene. Life-saving measueres were initiated, but a short time later Page was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
