Madison needs to get tough on idling vehicles | Steve Books

Too much vehicular idling is going on in Madison. Even with modern systems for vehicles, a lot of drivers are not paying attention to the emissions that are expelling from their vehicle. We see too many vehicles idling in parking lots or along streets. Many drivers are looking at a cellphones with the engine running, with or without the vehicle lights on.

Doesn't Madison have an idling ordinance ? It's not being enforced. With global warming and climate change causing large storms to become worse - as we have seen recently - shouldn't there be a renewed interest in less vehicular idling for saving our planet? Just asking.
