A major Hollywood star looked unrecognisable as she shared a morning selfie with an eye infection and milk moustache on set of her new TV show on Wednesday.

The 77-year-old is one of the world's most talented actresses, who has been nominated for an Oscar eight times.

Her most recent Oscar nomination was in 2021 for her performance as Hillbilly Elegy, based on the book written by JD Vance .

She received her first Leading Actress nod for her portrayal of a woman scorned in the thriller Fatal Attraction in 1989.

But can YOU guess who it is?

The actress is none other than Glenn Close!

Taking to Instagram, she shared a selfie on Instagram looking completely different to her usual glamorous self.

She posed barefaced in a trailer while on the set of Ryan Murphy's highly anticipated series All's Fair.

In the snap, the star can be seen holding a latte with the foam around her mouth and a dot of froth on her nose.

She also had an eye cooling mask on her forehead which she had used to help the swelling of a stye she has on her left eye.

Glenn captioned the post: 'First latte of the morning in the hair and makeup trailer for DINA, the character I play in Ryan Murphy 's ALL'S FAIR. Bit of a stye in my left eye, thus the blue heat pack.

'Foam always starts a day off right. Too bad I have to wipe it off. Hi Ho the glamorous life!'

The upcoming series, which centers on an all-female law firm, boasts an all-star cast, including Kim Kardashian , Sarah Paulson , Niecy Nash, and Teyana Taylor.

Kim is also reported to be an executive producer on the upcoming drama.

The show is rumored to be inspired by Hollywood divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented Kim when her marriages to Kris Humphries and Kanye West ended.

All's Fair was announced in December 2023 as the first series under Murphy's overall deal at Disney.

While it is not yet known who Glenn will play in the new series, Kim will star as the powerful Los Angeles-based attorney who runs a successful women-led law firm.

It was created by Jon Robin Baitz (Brothers & Sisters, Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans) and Joe Baken, who are also executive producing the series.

Glenn has become one of the world's most talented actresses.

She received her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1983 for The World According to Garp, for one of her first-ever featured roles.

Just one year later, the talented star was nominated again for her standout performance in the ensemble drama The Big Chill, and kept the streak going with her third nod in as many years in 1985 for The Natural.

However most of her fans would agree that the role for which she most deserved Oscar gold came in 1987, when she played the troubled Alex Forrest in Adrian Lynn's superior and taut thriller Fatal Attraction.

She has been quite vocal over the years about how much work she put into the role of Alex, including meeting with psychiatrists, and has said she 'loved' the character and chose to play her as 'someone in distress' as opposed to a simple monster.

And that work shows in the film, which tells the story of a brief extramarital love affair gone very, very wrong when the 'other woman' (Close) refuses to be cast aside.

Like some of the best Hitchcock films, Fatal Attraction became something of a cultural touchpoint since its release over 30 years ago, coining the term 'bunny boiler'.

And while Cher took home the Best Actress Oscar that year for her winsome performance in Moonstruck, those in Glenn's camp have felt she's been somewhat shortchanged by the Academy ever since.

'It's beyond me. I don't know what to say about that,' Glenn remarked previously.
