Man charged, accused of killing 2 teens in Flint shooting

FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) - A 19-year-old has been arrested and charged for the deaths of two teens that happened back in June.

On June, 26, 2024, Flint Police responded to the 1300 block of Banbury Place at 1:30 a.m. for a shooting.

According to police, responding officers found two victims, 13-year-old Dontavis Moore and 15-year-old Dominique Ward.

Moore was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said, adding Ward was found dead at the scene.

Investigators said Ryan Davis has been arrested for the shooting. Davis is facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of first-degree murder
  • Three counts of assault with intent to murder
  • Two counts of discharge in or at a building causing death
  • Seven counts of felony firearm
  • Gang membership felonies
  • Using a computer to commit a crime
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
