Man Dies After Crashing Into House

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-13-24 | 12:30 a.m. : 2400 Hollister AREA/CITY: Houston :

A fatal accident occurred when a BMW went off the roadway and crashed into the side of a house.
The driver, believed to be a 59-year-old male, died from the accident.
Officers arrived quickly and attempted to provide medical treatment.
HFD provided CPR and transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
No one inside the home was injured during the crash.
The BMW caught fire after the accident, but HFD was able to stop it from spreading.
Earlier, neighbors reported that the man, who lived nearby, had been knocking on doors and acting erratically, claiming to have people's keys.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
