Man stabbed during fight at Old Town Transit Center
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities are investigating after a man was stabbed at the Old Town Transit Center Thursday morning, San Diego Police said.
A 27-year-old man was involved in a fight with two other men at the trolley stop, located at 4009 Taylor St., when one of the suspects stabbed him twice in the upper body with a knife, police said. They said he was later struck in the head with a rock by another suspect.
Suspects arrested after body found in makeshift grave at Balboa Park
The incident happened around 8:44 a.m. Thursday, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to SDPD.
Authorities said the suspects fled the scene but were later located a short distance away and subsequently arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said the identities of the suspects are not yet verified. Western Division investigators are handling the case.
