Michelle Yeoh emotionally revealed she feels 'huge sadness' over her inability to have children - but has 'no regrets' as she gushed over her six godchildren.

The Wicked star, 62, discovered she was unable to conceive during her marriage to business magnate Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1992.

But the Academy Award winner proudly admitted 'she has given her '110 per cent' in life, praising the love of her beloved family.

Michelle told The Sunday Times : 'Maybe that is the biggest sadness in my life, that I cannot have kids. But the beauty is that I have six godchildren, many nephews and nieces.

'I don't live with regrets because I have always given it my 110 per cent. I did everything to make it work, and sometimes even that is not enough, you have to be able.

'In life, we say, you have to not go around holding your hands like this, you have to learn to let go, and sometimes letting go helps you move forward,' she added.

The actress also revealed in a recent interview that her fertility issues were partially what led to her divorce from the business mogul.

The Crazy Rich Asians sensation tied the knot with French motor racing executive Jean Todtsince in 2023, almost 20 years after they initially met and is now a grandmother through his children.

Speaking on The Goop Podcast, she said: 'We did whatever was necessary (to have children). Unfortunately, I was physically unable to.

'I knew my ex really wanted a big family... not just one son, but two sons or three even better. He was working hard for a big empire and he needed sons to carry on his lineage.

'I don't know how women in our line of work juggle being pregnant, having a baby, going back to work... I'm not a multitasker.'

Last week, Michelle made jaws drop as she displayed her bold new hairdo at the star-studded Wicked premiere in Los Angeles .

The Malaysian star — who plays the role of headmistress Madame Morrible in the highly anticipated musical blockbuster — channeled Marylin Monroe as she debuted a voluminous bleach-blonde bob with dark roots.

Some of her co-stars we also in attendance, including the likes of Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Ethan Slater, Jonathan Bailey, Kristin Chenowith and Idina Menzel, among others.

While on the red carpet, Yeoh told E! News that she was 'so excited' for the premiere as the film's release nears.

'I am so excited to be here. As you know, I haven't even seen the film yet, so I am beyond excited. And to see all this—thank you, everyone, for showing up,' she told the outlet.

She also explained that working with co-star Cynthia Erivo — who plays Elphaba, the wicked witch — made her experience on set more comforting and 'easy.'

'When you have Cynthia next to you and holding your hand, and saying, "You can do this," it's easy.'

She said, 'When magic happens there's no rhyme or reason for it. And it just did.'
