Mild, clear night across Colorado for firework displays
DENVER – It's a beautiful, mild and dry night across Colorado to watch the Fourth of July firework displays!
Look for mostly clear skies overnight with lows dipping into the low to mid 50s around the Denver metro. Some spots in the mountains will drop into the mid to upper 30s by Friday morning!
A weak disturbance will move across the Eastern Plains overnight, bringing mostly cloudy skies and a few showers by morning. They won't last long, and the clouds clear out by mid-day.
Otherwise, the mostly sunny skies and mid-80s are back Friday afternoon across the Urban corridor. It'll be a bit warmer on Saturday in the lower 90s ahead of the next cold front to move into the state. It'll help to drop temperatures a solid 10-degrees by Sunday.
A few storms are possible on Saturday afternoon along the Eastern Plains, but it looks like we'll see an even better chance in the metro area on Sunday.
The summer sizzle (90+ degree temps) is back by the middle of next week.
