Judith (Judy) Kreiner, aged 87, took her last breath peacefully at her home in Mt. Pleasant, MI surrounded by her husband and children on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born Judith Ann Kapusto to parents Emma (Greelich) and Stanley Kapusto on Feb. 18, 1937 in Chesaning, MI. After high school in St. Charles, MI, Judy attended Central Michigan University and received her Bachelor's degree in Education. While there, she met her husband of 63 years, Dean Kreiner. Judy worked as an elementary school teacher until she took time off to raise their 4 children. Eventually she returned to teaching until she retired in 1997. Judy was a loving mother, wonderful sister and friend. Most importantly, she was a loyal spouse and Dean's #1 baseball fan. Judy knew baseball so well that she became Dean's unofficial assistant coach and let him know anytime he called the wrong play. All who knew Judy knew she loved to have fun and enjoyed her large family gatherings. She is survived by her husband, Dean, her 4 children, Tom (Libby) Kreiner, Den (Karen) Kreiner, Ken Kreiner, Karen (Randy) Buendorf, 6 grandchildren; Chelsea (Trevor) Martin, Elise (Caleb) Dassinger, Cal Kreiner, Jacob Buendorf, Colby Buendorf, Aiden Buendorf, and her 4 siblings. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kathy, Mandy and her caregivers for their compassionate loving care and support over the past couple years. Their kindness and dedication brought great comfort and quality of life to Judy and the rest of her family. A visitation gathering will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, 114 S. Bradley St., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. A Celebration of Life Party in her honor will be held at their house in Mt. Pleasant, 5500 S. Isabella Rd., on Saturday, October 19, 2024 starting at 1 pm.
