EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State University's Community Music School held an adult community ensemble on Sunday. The MSU Community Music Schools adult program is designed for those who want to learn how to play a musical instrument and those who want to get back into playing alongside those who love music. Sunday's event was free to the public, and attendees could listen to band, orchestra, jazz, and other combined musical selections. "We do accept new members at all times during the year," said Patti Kroth a Founding Director of the Adult Ensembles at the MSU Community Music School. "As I mentioned before, all ability levels are welcomed because we are there to help you, and it's just so much fun. We also invite people to come and watch a rehearsal; maybe one of our groups is interesting to you, and you might not know until you visit that group." The music schools next performance will on Thursday, Nov. 21.
