MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board approved building permits for two large projects on Thursday.

Lambert Architecture and Construction Services sought a permit for the Tidal Creek Picklehouse project at 1051 Shine Avenue in The Market Common. The plans call for building alterations, outdoor seating, pickleball courts with a shelter, fencing, parking, landscaping and a dumpster enclosure.

The board also approved permits requested by the Development Resource Group for Phase II of the Holiday Inn Club Vacation project near the corner of Springmaid and South Ocean boulevards. The more than 313,000-square-foot high-rise building project also includes parking, landscaping, and a compactor enclosure.

A permit application for another project by Miller Design Services was withdrawn by staff members. The Pink House Square Townhomes project at 4221 N. Kings Highway would feature four six-unit buildings and one eight-unit building, along with parking, landscaping and a dumpster enclosure.
