N. Alpine reduced to one lane for water repair

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A portion of N. Alpine Road will be reduced to one lane for up to three days as the Rockford Public Works department conducts repairs.
According to the City, the Water Division will begin repairing water service in the 900 block N. Alpine Road beginning Wednesday, October 16th.
The City said traffic will be reduced to one lane at Abbotsford Road to all traffic headed southbound.
If water is shut off, residents will be notified through information hung on their door.
The work is expected to last between one and three days.
