NBA Player Props: 3 Best Bets for Thursday (November 7)

E.Nelson28 min ago

The NBA betting slate for tonight features just three games:

  • Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Chicago Bulls, 8 p.m. ET
  • Utah Jazz vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 8 p.m. ET
  • Portland Trail Blazers vs. San Antonio Spurs, 8 p.m. ET
  • For some reason, all three games tip off at the same time, but that will not stop us from finding some plays tonight.

Onto the best NBA player prop picks for Thursday, November 7!

Mike Conley 10+ Points (+120) FanDuel

This is a number that Conley has only hit in two games this year, but he has come close with nine points in two other games. He also has a great matchup against the Bulls, who allow points in the ways that Conley scores.

At this point in his career, Conley has low usage on offense, as he will spend some time on offense running pick-and-rolls (PnR), but is mostly a catch-and-shoot (CnS) specialist.

While Conley is not among the league leaders in CnS opportunities, of course, or even the leader on the Timberwolves, he also only needs to score 10 points tonight. He takes the fifth-most CnS 3PA on Minnesota, but all four players above him have a higher over/under for this game.

On the season, the Bulls have allowed the ninth-most CnS 3-point attempts (3PA) after leading the NBA in this category last year.

Conley has scored over 50 percent of his points from the above-the-break 3-point range, and the Bulls have allowed the fourth-most above-the-break 3PA in the NBA .

According to PropsMadness , four of five players with a similar scoring profile have gone over their point total average against the Bulls, as detailed below:

  • Keyonte George:
  • Jalen Suggs:
  • Alex Caruso:
  • Gary Trent Jr:
  • C.J. McCollum:
  • Look for Conley to get to at least 10 points tonight.

Mike Conley 10+ points (+120) FanDuel:

Anfernee Simons o21.5 Points (+102) Caesars

For our second play of the day, we are rocking with another point guard's points prop.

It has been a hit-or-miss start for Portland PG Anfernee Simons, but this is another situation where he has a matchup advantage over the Spurs given how they play defense.

Simons scores the majority of his points as the PnR ball-handler, and he loves to pull up from 3-point range. He scores over half his points as the PnR ball-handler and is sixth in the NBA in points scored as the PnR ball-handler.

Despite boasting one of the best defensive centers in the NBA , the Spurs have struggled to contain PnR ball-handlers throughout Victor Wembanyama's short career.

Of course, Wembanyama can only do so much on a team that has below-average defense on the perimeter and is consistently allowing penetration. As a result, the Spurs have allowed the 10th-most points per game to PnR ball-handlers this year, after allowing the third-most last year.

From there, the Spurs allow the sixth-most pull-up FGA in the NBA and the eighth-most pull-up 3PA specifically.

Simons, meanwhile, leads the Blazers in points scored via pull-ups. In the last game he played against the Spurs, back in January of the 2023-24 campaign, Simons put up 40 points, and we just need him to get over 21 to cash this one out.

    Anfernee Simons o21.5 Points (+102):

    G. Antetokounmpo o11.5 Reb. (+100) ESPN BET

For our third and final pick of the evening, let's head over to the Jazz vs. Bucks game and rock with Giannis Antetokounmpo to go over his rebound prop.

It is a high number, but it's high for good reason with Antetokounmpo.

This is a number that he has hit in three of six games, but he also grabbed exactly 11 rebounds twice this season, and he has not had fewer than 10 in a single game this year. So, he has a good starting floor of at least double-digit rebounds.

On the other side of the court, the Jazz have allowed the fifth-most rebounds to centers in the entire NBA .

Though Antetokounmpo is technically listed as a power forward, he has the rebounding profile of a center, as opposed to the Bucks actual starting center, Brook Lopez, who defers rebounds to Antetokounmpo.

The Greek Freak should be able to get to the 12+ number tonight to cash this out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 11.5 rebounds (+100):
