NOPD searches for Maple Street business burglary suspect
NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — The New Orleans Police Department is hoping to identify and arrest a suspect who is accused of burglarizing a business on Maple Street. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
NOPD: Thieves stole Delgado tools to steal ATM
According to police, the crime happened around 5:10 in the morning on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the 7600 block of Maple. Sources tell WGNO News that the suspect was able to push his arm through an opening in the businesses door frame and unlock the deadbolt.
Once inside the store, the suspect allegedly went directly to the store's cash register and stole the money inside of it. The owner of the business says the thief got away with a little less than $150.
