Northland Outdoors Forecast: A cloudy and somewhat mild start to December

The first weekend of December looks to be a quite one with temperatures above average for just about the entire region. By Saturday afternoon, most of us will see mostly cloudy skies and light winds. Temperatures will also be slightly above average for the start of the month with a lot of us seeing highs in the 30s and 40s.

Once we head into Sunday, we do have a slight chance of flurries/snow showers for parts of the Dakotas and into Minnesota. These will be very light and shouldn't impact travel, save for an occasional slick spot on the road.

As for the afternoon, it will be similar to Saturday with highs again in the 30s and 40s for the region.

The winds however will increase from the west in the Dakotas. By the afternoon it will get breezy at times, but winds stay on the lighter side in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
