NYSP arrest LaFargeville man for sexual offenses
LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 35-year-old LaFargeville man is facing multiple charges after a Jefferson County grand jury indicted him for alleged sexual assault of a child and domestic violence.
New York State Police arrested Robert Bowes on Thursday, November 7. Bowes is facing the following charges:
Two counts of predatory sexual assault of a child
Two Counts of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the first degree
Sexual Abuse in the first degree
Acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17
According to police, they did not disclose any further information about the alleged incident.
Carthage PD charge man with rape
Bowes was also charged for a separate domestic incident in late June of this year in the town of Orleans. He was charged with the following:
Aggravated Family Offense-More than 1 offense within five years
Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation
Assault in the third degree
Bowes is currently being held at the Jefferson County Public Safety building pending County Court. He was remanded with $2,500 Bail, $7,500 secured surety bond and $10,000 partially secured surety bond.
