One dead after hit-and-run crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run crash in Phoenix Friday night. Officers responded just before 8:45 p.m. to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road . When police arrived at the scene, they found an adult man with serious injuries. Fire crews attempted life-saving measures, but the man did not survive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle involved left the scene before police arrived. No information about the victim or the suspect has been released.
