Otsego County man accused of child sex abuse, animal cruelty
OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – An Otsego County man is facing multiple child sex abuse charges as well as animal cruelty.
The Otsego County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Tyrell Adams of Pittsfield subjected children to persistent sexual abuse over the course of several years.
Investigators say he also killed a family pet in front of the kids for no legitimate purpose.
And he allegedly violated a family court order of protection.
Adams is charged with three counts of sex abuse, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child, animal cruelty and criminal contempt.
