Friends of the Lakewalk/Canal Park Business Association Fall Cleanup:

Great Lakes Outdoor Summit: Oct. 24-26, Duluth. Hosted by the Duluth Area Outdoor Alliance. For more info, go to duluthaoa.org/great-lakes-outdoor-summit. Space is limited. Event highlights:

Oct. 24: Blended/hybrid CPR/first aid technical training certificate course, 1-3 p.m., Holiday Inn. End the evening at The West Theatre with a social and live recording of the influential outdoor podcast "The Dirtbag Diaries."

Oct. 25: Twelve sessions led by over 20 outdoor recreation professionals; keynote address by Indigenous activist and Patagonia-sponsored athlete Connor Ryan; over 40 tabling organizations, Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Duluth Mayor Reinert will lead the closing address.

Oct. 26: Guided field trips led by local outdoor recreation organizations. These excursions offer a chance to experience the natural beauty of Duluth while engaging with experts in the field.

Subscribers Only The second annual event expands to the DECC, with more than 400 attendees expected.
