Overpass may be best option for John Nolen Drive | Janice Knapp-Cordes

I completely agree that $41 million to $55 million is too much to pay for an underpass under John Nolen Drive near North Shore Drive in Madison. But how about an overpass?
The recently built overpass over University Bay Drive near University Avenue cost around $3 million. Admittedly, an overpass over John Nolen would also have to span the railroad tracks. I don't think that's an insurmountable problem.
I value the safety of pedestrians and cyclists more than an unobstructed view of the Capitol and hope that many in Madison feel as I do.
