Packers vs. Titans, Week 3 first half discussion thread

With Jordan Love officially ruled out versus the Tennessee Titans , it's the Malik Willis show in Nashville. Can Willis, a former Titan himself, repeat the success that he had in Week 2, when he posted a 126.8 passer rating in his first start as a Green Bay Packer? First, you have to answer what the run game looks like, which opened up much of the passing game last weekend.

Versus the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2, Green Bay carried the ball 53 times for 261 yards, most of which came in the first half of the game. That will be much tougher to do this week, as the Titans have all-world Jeffery Simmons and 366-pound rookie T'Vondre Sweat playing in the middle of their defense. If they can manage to repeat the first-half rushing success that the Packers had last week, though, they certainly have a chance in this one.

The Titans are 0-2 coming into this one, in part because of the poor decision-making that Tennessee quarterback Will Levis has brought to the table. Levis has all the tools, much like Willis, but hasn't been able to string together consistent enough play to warrant franchise quarterback talk. In his NFL career, Levis has posted a 3-8 record and has a passer rating of 81.0, with that figure being 67.3 for his 2024 season.
