Pancheros Mexican Grill to open Tuesday in Bettendorf
Pancheros Mexican Grill is expanding to the growing "Bett Plex" area of Bettendorf, that will serve "burritos better built" to locals, athletes, families and guests living in and visiting the area, as well as travelers on Interstate 80 looking for a bite to eat.
"The Bett Plex area is booming with new business and residential developments, so bringing the Pancheros concept we've mastered over 20 years to locals and visitors of Bettendorf made perfect sense for our team," Doug Ormsby, Bettendorf Pancheros co-owner, said. "We saw an ideal opportunity on the right side of Middle Road and wanted this Iowa staple to be a part of the area's growth."
Ormsby and Dan Sacco also own Pancheros in Dubuque and Davenport, located at 4888 Utica Ridge Road.
"We explored many concepts and landed on Pancheros because the quality of the food, the business model and the brand culture were unbeatable, and the available markets were exactly where we wanted to be," Sacco said. "We invest in each community that surrounds our restaurants, so we're excited to have the opportunity to bring the same great food, service and local support to the Bettendorf community as we do in Dubuque and Davenport."
Pancheros Mexican Grill offers Burritos "Better Built" — incorporating fresh-pressed tortillas, homemade queso and high-quality ingredients.. The brand also offers bowls, tacos, vegetarian and vegan options.
The Bettendorf Pancheros restaurant spans an approximate 2,400-square-foot space and will feature a second make-line — a key element integrated into many Pancheros restaurants nationwide. The second make-line emphasizes efficient, personable service of all guests, whether ordering digitally or in-restaurant.
Scheduled to open on Oct. 8, the restaurant is located at 5273 Competition Drive in Bettendorf. The business will celebrate the opening with a $1 burrito event from Oct.15 to 21, featuring a giveaway of 2,500 codes for $1 burritos for loyalty members and a raffle for free burritos for a year. Guests can enter code "DOLLABETT" on the Pancheros app to receive a $1 burrito, valid through Monday, Oct. 21, while offers last. Guests who download the app will receive rewards and promotion opportunities throughout the year.
