Texas reels in new all

Trapper's Sushi Co. hails from Washington, where it began 20 years ago after founder Trapper O'Keeffe opened the first restaurant. The first San Antonio location of the sushi bar chain opened in 2022, and now, the second in town has finally launched.

You can find San Antonio's second Trapper's Sushi Co. location at 6626 W. Loop 1604 N., in the Culebra Commons retail center near Culebra Road. The restaurant celebrated its grand opening on September 30 .

"Trapper's Culebra offers a wide variety of sushi rolls, bento boxes, and teriyaki plates," Trapper's Sushi Co. wrote in a Facebook post . "We're excited to be in Texas and we're ready to be your next local spot."

The menu at Trapper's Sushi Co. is vast, with pages of sushi options, but if you'd rather have a wide variety of bites, opt for the all-you-can-eat option. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily the AYCE lunch menu is just $20 a head, while the dinner version is offered from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $30 per person.

When you go for the AYCE option, you can choose from a list of nigiri, long rolls and specialty rolls, like the Tukwila roll, which comes with spicy crab, cucumber and corkscrew shrimp topped with avocado, jalapeño masago, sweet chili sauce and teriyaki. Bring several friends and board the Trapper's "Yacht Party" or sushi boat with a variety of available roll options. Or trade in your boring bloody mary for The Kraken, a tricked out sushi-fied bloody with onion rings and a maki roll.
