Paramount+ Releases Trailer For New Christmas Film ‘Dear Santa’
Move over Hallmark Channel.
There is a new content platform in the original Christmas movie game, Paramount+. And the streaming service has released the trailer for holiday comedy Dear Santa from Peter and Bobby Farrelly – The Farrelly Brothers – which will premiere on Paramount+ November 25.
The movie, which is the service's first original Christmas film, will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and the following day in the UK and Australia.
The logline: Dear Santa is the story of a young boy (Robert Timothy Smith) who mails his Christmas wish list to Santa with one crucial spelling error, resulting in a devilish Jack Black's arrival to wreak havoc on the holidays.
Dear Santa will also be featured in the annual Paramount+ "'Tis the Season for Streaming"-themed holiday collection featuring a lineup of movies, seasonal episodes from original series, and specials. Here is the trailer:
Following Dear Santa, Jack Black will be featured in A Minecraft Movie, which is an adaptation of the video game Minecraft. It will be released theatrically by Warner Bros. on April 4, 2025.
