Paris woman wins $75,000 with scratch-off ticket

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Paris woman won $75,000 off a scratch-off ticket on Nov. 7.

According to a press release , Sasha Mitchell bought the winning ticket at Tobacco Town Paris.

Mitchell bought the ticket as part of some last-minute Halloween shopping. She waited until the following week to scratch the ticket while sitting in her driveway.

The release says to win the crossword game's $75,000 prize, a player's ticket must hold 11 winning words.

Mitchell's excitement grew as she uncovered each word, one by one. "It kept going and going," Mitchell said.

Mitchell says she plans to pay off her debt with her winnings.

"I think it's a dream," Mitchell said. "I've cried so many times today."
