Two businesses robbed on Route 5 in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — There have been two commercial robberies this week on Route 5 in Wallingford, according to police. Armed gas station robbery under investigation in Southington On Nov. 8, a suspect wearing a camouflage jacket and ski mask made off with cash from the register at Checkers, police said. An arrest was not made on the scene. On Nov. 13, a suspect wearing a light colored Carhatt jacket, a hoodie underneath and a facemask threatened the clerk at Valero with a handgun and made off with cash from the register as well.
