Most obituaries published in the Reading Eagle are submitted through funeral homes and cremation services, but we will accept submissions from families. Obituaries can be emailed to .

In addition to the text of the obituary, any photographs that you wish to include can be attached to this email. Please put the text of the obituary in a Word document, a Google document or in the body of the email. The Reading Eagle also requires a way to verify the death, so please include either the phone number of the funeral home or cremation service that is in charge of the deceased's care or a photo of his/her death certificate. We also request that your full name, phone number and address are all included in this email.

All payments by families must be made with a credit card. We will send a proof of the completed obituary before we require payment. The obituary cannot run, however, until we receive payment in full.

Obituaries can be submitted for any future date, but they must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. the day prior to its running for it to be published.

The following information comes from police reports and court records.

Theft: On Nov. 4 at about 4:50 p.m. state police responded to Weis Market, 500 Pottsville Park Plaza in Norwegian Township for a retail theft. Jessica Danouski, 38, Minersville was arrested and a summary citation for retail theft was filed.

Crash: On Nov. 4 at about 7:30 a.m. Jennifer Lesher, 52, Sinking Spring, was driving north on Summer Valley Road when the vehicle she was driving hit a deer. The car had disabling damage to its front end and was towed. Lesher was not injured.

Crash: State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 895 in Wayne Township on Nov. 2 at about 1:40 p.m. Tejas Trivedi, 54, Edison, N.J. was driving west on Route 895 in front of Vishrut Jetly, 26, Jersey City, N.J., as Pranav Kansara, 43, Newtown Square, was attempting a left turn, Jetly rear-ended Trivedi's car, and Trivedi's car struck Pranav Kansara's 2018 Ford Edge in the rear end. Two of the vehicles were towed. No injuries were reported.

Crash: On Oct. 31 at about 7:20 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Eric Diaz, 41, Mahanoy City, hit a deer. The vehicle was towed. Diaz was not injured.

Crash: State police responded to an accident on Route 501 in Pine Grove Township on Oct. 31 at about 8:35 a.m. Michael Thompson 62, Lauderhill, Fla., was driving north on Bethel Road. Katie Dunlop, 42, Williamstown was in the opposite direction. Thompson entered the southbound lane attempting to pass a vehicle, and Dunlop stopped when she saw Thompson coming. The front driver's side of Thompson's truck struck Dunlop's car, which had to be towed. Dunlop suffered a minor injury but refused transport.

Crash: On Oct. 31 at about 2:50 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Sunbury Road at Deep Creek Road in Barry Township. A vehicle driven by Andrew Ruben, 28, St. Clair, collided with one driven by Steven Albertini, 38, Coal Township. Ruben was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital East. Two passengers in Ruben's vehiclewere flown to Danville Hospital. Ruben was cited for vehicle code violations.

Crash: State police responded to a three-vehicle accident on Route 61 at Earl Street in North Manheim Township on Oct. 28 at about 8:40 a.m. Darryl Ream, 54, Myerstown; Lotti Deiter, 58, Pottsville; and Stephanie Donatti, 48, St. Clair, were driving south. As Deiter slowed to make a turn, Ream was blinded by the sun. He struck Deiter's and Donatti'e vehicles. Ream's truck was towed from the scene. Donatti was transported by Pottsville EMS to a local hospital for evaluation.

Crash: On Oct. 28 at about 8:45 p.m. state police responded to an accident on Route 183 S. in Wayne Township. Garrett Bristow, 23, Auburn, struck a deer. Bristow was not injured. The vehicle was towed.

Crash: State police responded to an accident on Route 125 in Tremont Township on Oct. 28 at about 9:10 p.m. Terell Williams, 32, Minersville, left the road and struck trees in a wooded area. Williams was not injured. His vehicle was towed.

Crash: State police responded to an accident on North Tulpehocken Street in Pine Grove on Oct. 28 at about 10:30 p.m. Lillie Morgan, 58, Valley View, failed to stop at a red light and struck a minivan. Neither driver was injured. One vehicle was towed.

Crash: On Oct. 28 at about 5:15 a.m. state police at Schuylkill Haven responded to an accident on Route 209 in Failey Township. Richard Sep Jr., 58, Donaldson, attempted to enter the roadway northbound from Interstate 81. Jacqueline Gaud-Flores, 47, Lebanon, failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck by Sep's vehicle. Neither driver was injured. Both vehicles were towed.

Terroristic Threats: On Oct. 29, state police responded to Minersville Street in Norwegian Township for terroristic threats. Nathan Fisher, 37, New Ringgold, threatened to kill and stalked his probation officer. An arrest warrant was issued for Fisher. He was located by troopers in York County and apprehended. The case is pending court.

Crash: On Oct. 26 at about 8:40 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 61 near Route 895 in West Brunswick Township. Amy Barnhardt, 51, Adamstown, and Joyce Spotts, 20, Minersville, were southbound when Barnhardt rear-ended Spotts' vehicle, which was stopped at a red light. Both vehicles were towed. The drivers were not injured.

Crash: State police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Mill Creek Avenue in Norwegian Township on Oct. 25 at about 5:30 p.m. Nayeli Rodriguez Urbano, 23, Pottsville, attempted to make a left turn on Arthur Street and collided with a pickup truck driven by Anthony Stanell, 51, Brockton. Both vehicles were towed. There were no injuries reported.

Theft: On Oct. 24, state police were dispatched to Route 183 S. in Wayne Township for a reported fraud. A driver for M and D. Transport, Schuylkill Haven, used a credit card to purchase fuel in Plainfield, Ill. Ten days later $1,464 was charged to the credit card for a fuel purchase in Plainfield.

Crash: On Oct. 24 at about 9:30 p.m., state police responded to an accident on Route 209 in Norwegian Township. A vehicle driven by Calleigh Kroh, 18, Donaldson, collided with one driven by Laura Pernick, 64, St. Clair. Kroh and her passenger were injured and transported to Geisinger St. Luke's Orwigsburg. Both vehicles were towed.

Crash: On Oct. 23 at about 5:45 a.m., state police responded to an accident on Bernville Road near Henke Lane in Jefferson Township. Russell Koch, 51, Leesport, struck a deer. Koch was injured. The car was towed.
