Pedestrian Repeatedly Run Over On Brooklyn Queens Expressway: NYPD

The pedestrian, a 46-year-old man, was walking on the highway near 86th Street when he was hit by a man driving a 2012 Nissan, police say. After that, several cars ran over the pedestrian unknowingly, according to the NYPD.
When police arrived, they said the pedestrian was unconscious and lying in the roadway with trauma to the head and was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim's name is being kept private until the police can notify his family, NYPD said.
Police say the man in the Nissan stayed on the scene, and no arrests have been made yet.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD's Highway District Collision Investigation Squad.
