Australian brand Peppermayo has become a cult brand that every It Girl is wearing–be it tennis wags, like Morgan Riddle and Paige Lorenze, or influencers Stassie Baby and Victoria Villoroel.

It almost feels like the skimpy styles from Peppermayo are everywhere, and it's easy to see why. The brand exudes a sense of sultry wanderlust for their 2025 Resort Collection , which they recently unveiled on their website, and starts shipping in November.

The new collection features oversized florals, sequins galore and knits. "Knits are timeless and a super easy transeasonal piece which can be styled in a variety of ways," said Georgia Wright, the co-founder and designer of Peppermayo. The Peppermayo girl loves a knit layered over a cute dress with heels or sneakers."

Some of the knits include the Jayda Crochet Mini Skirt in red, which pairs up with the Adore You Crochet Babydoll Top. A new crop of crochet maxi dresses are also in the mix, like the butter yellow Vivid Dreams dress or the Off Grid dress in white.

The oversized florals adorn dresses like the Affirmation Maxi Dress, which is adorned with a giant pink lily print, or the Fioretta Floret top and matching maxi skirt is an arty addition to any beach vacation.

Some of the hottest pieces from Peppermayo's Resort 2025 Collection include their Eden Strapless Maxi Dress, which comes with a dramatic slit and delicate straps, or their Dreamscape Midi Skirt, which taps into our love of Cottagecore.

Sequins are everywhere, citing a return to maximalist fashion after quiet luxury has had its moment. The brand's collection also features elegant dresses Perfect Places Low rise Sequin Maxi Skirt , or the brand's After Midnight Sequin Racer Top in Blue, not to mention their Rio Dreams Cowl Neck Halter Top in Green.

Red is a major color this upcoming season, too. "Red is a bold color that catches the eye and works on all skin colors without washing anyone out," said Wright. "Red works well as a pop in all outfits when paired back with blacks, whites and neutrals. Most of our red pieces are our best sellers."

For flirty vacation wear, Wright recommends that the best outfits "take your look from the beach to the bar." She explains: "Being an Australian based brand, summer is always on our minds; it's also so fun right now, we are getting into our true summer."

Wright is seeing a lot of trending styles for resort wear, including Scandinavian styles (just look at the ever-growing popularity of Copenhagen Fashion Week), though, her biggest inspiration for the brand is often retro 1990s and early 2000s designs. "Fashion is definitely circular and we are seeing a lot of that come back into our designs," she said.

Above all, a Peppermayo girl wants to be a step ahead of the trends. "We pride ourselves on setting the trends and being first to market," said Wright. "The Peppermayo girl wants something unique while still affordable that she can style in a variety of ways."

Peppermayo recently celebrated Paris Fashion Week for a tea gathering with R&B singer Justine Skye and influencer Tamara Francesconi. They also held a VIP dinner in Los Angeles last month with Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner.

They have come a long way since Peppermayo was first founded in a small studio apartment in Sydney back in 2012 by Wright and Huayi Huang. Today, it caters to Gen Z and features everything from miniskirts to trench coats, bikinis and shoes.

The brand strives to use as much organic cotton as possible and have a commitment to source their fabrics ethically and have an Ethical Trade initiative to ensure the supply chain is respected. Next up, they are working towards having a Zero Waste Packaging system, to launch community initiatives and for the brand to be Carbon Positive.

"Recently, Peppermayo has undergone a huge rebrand elevating the creative, design and overall marketing strategy," said Wright. "This has been a key pillar in the recent growth of the brand and allowed us to work on some incredibly exciting activations."

When it comes to sustainability, Peppermayo requires that their manufacturers have current Sedex Members Ethical Trade Reports, as audited by SMETA."On top of this, we have put sustainability procedures in place in our office, everything is recycled and run with a no waste policy," she said.

"Lastly, we avoid products going into landfill by donating products to charity or moving the stock through sample sales, which is a strategy that works really well for the business."

Next up, Peppermayo plans on expanding globally into new regions, and will unveil more celebrity collaborations.

"We have some exciting plans on the horizon, including a one of a kind Peppermayo tour of Australia with a handful of top global talent," she said.

"We will have everyone's New Years Eve wardrobes covered, so stay tuned for more."
