With the Singapore Grand Prix set to get underway this weekend, stars from around the world have been flocking out to the glittering city for what is set to be a blockbuster weekend of racing action.

It'll be a big weekend for Lando Norris too, who will be keen to climb back up the leaderboard this weekend after finishing fourth in Azerbaijan last week.

The British driver currently sits second in the drivers standings, 59 points off leader Max Verstappen and a win this weekend could see the McLaren driver close the gap to the Dutch driver.

While his mind will be on outdoing he was paid a visit by a special visitor this week who you may recognise from a viral meme.

Andras Istvan Arato, who is more commonly known as the internet meme 'Hide the Pain Harold', posted a picture of himself alongside the British F1 driver on his Instagram as he took a tour of the Singapore Grand Prix track.

In 2011, a picture of Arato, appearing to fake a smile, went viral on the internet as a meme.

The electrical engineer has since worked as a model and worked in the advertising and photography industry since.

But it appears he has been enjoying taking in the sights at the Singapore Grand Prix too, with the 79-year-old Hungarian also being pictured next to fellow British driver George Russell.

He was invited to the race track by F1 reporter Sandor Meszaros, with the pair also posing for pictures in the paddock.

Arato captioned the Instagram post: 'Mészáros Sándor is Hungary's most characteristic autosport journalist, he arranged an exclusive tour of the paddock for us in the racing circus that serves as his second home.'

Norris has enjoyed an excellent season on the track, notably winning his first Grand Prix in Miami and now has the chance to usurp Verstappen at the top of the Driver Standings.

While that will be a tall order, Norris has stated ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix that he was ready to fight Verstappen for the title.

'I don't want to be given a championship,' he said during an interview with BBC Sport.

'Yes, it would be great to have a championship and short term you feel amazing, but I don't think you'd be proud of that in the long run. It's not how I want to win a championship.'

He added: 'I want to win it by fighting against Max and beating Max, beating my competitors and proving I'm the best on track. That's how I want to race.'
