The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington is thrilled to welcome Dan Brady as our next guest poet in our Vessels and Passages poetry series. Dan Brady is the author of the poetry collections Strange Children, Subtexts, and Songs in E——, winner of the Barclay Prize for Poetry, along with two poetry chapbooks. Previously, Dan served as the editor of American Poets, the journal of the Academy of American Poets, and worked in the Literature Division at the National Endowment for the Arts, where he received a Distinguished Service Award for his work on the Big Read, the largest community reading initiative in U.S. history. Today, Dan continues to champion poetry as the editor of Barrelhouse. He resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife and two children.
